Lights of the World, one of USA Today’s “Top 5 Over the Top Holiday Light Shows” is coming to Phoenix!
Lights of the World is a unique international lantern arts festival that combines the age-old Chinese tradition of lantern festivals with modern cutting-edge technology and lights. The Lights of the World lantern displays extend from 18 to 60 feet, showcasing features of different cultures and civilizations around the globe. With 11 overarching exhibits and 75 stunning displays, Lights of the World promises an unforgettable exploration of global cultures and cuisine. 
In addition to the stunning lights and lanterns Guests of Lights of the world enjoy an unlimited pass to ride as many carnival rides as you like. McDonald's Rock'n'Roll Car Show at the Pavilions
Celebrating over 20 years as the longest consistently run car show! This Rock'n'Roll McDonald's in Scottsdale is the perfect destination to see classic cars and motorcycles in a free, open-air event, complete with 50's era music provided by Party Time DJ's. Melrose Third Thursday

Merchants along 7th Avenue in uptown Phoenix, between Camelback and Indian School Rd, invite patrons the 3rd Thursday of every month to a celebration running during the day and into the evening hours. Featured attractions are food trucks posted along 7th Ave, local businesses with extended operating hours, music, vendors, crafts, and family-friendly fun.
Specific businesses open only on the third Thursday of the month sell inventory at deep discounts, and other businesses feature sales and specials dedicated to the day. Find a map and more information on the website.

ARIZONA BALLOON CLASSIC
The sky will be filled with colorful hot-air balloons participating in the thrilling “Hare and Hound” race from the grassy fields of the Goodyear Ballpark for a spectacular sight of mass and color.
Spectators can walk on the field and experience the balloons inflation and lift off. Photo taking is invited!
Desert Glows: On Friday and Saturday evenings, a field full of illuminated, tethered hot-air balloons will glow in time to music.
Other Attractions: “Pre-booked” hot-air balloon rides, family fun zone, hot-air balloon tethered rides, fireworks (Saturday only), live entertainment and many other exciting activities. Retail shopping and commercial exhibits for purchase or browsing.
StreetFoodfest: Our 2nd Annual Street Foodfest is set to expand with some of the Valley’s best culinary teams including a beer garden, food tasting, West Valley chef demonstrations and cooking school, food eating contests, live music and more. Come hungry and stay awhile.
