​​BODIES REVEALED
​The overwhelmingly popular “Bodies Revealed” exhibit explores the human body in an intimate and informative way, giving visitors an unprecedented way to view “what lies beneath” the surface of the skin.
Developed by Premier Exhibitions, Inc., “Bodies Revealed” provides an in-depth view of the beautifully complex and intricate network of internal organs and systems in a very up-close and personal way. The exhibition displays more than 200 whole and partial human body specimens that have been preserved by a revolutionary technique called “Polymer Preservation,” which can take more than a year to prepare and intricately showcases the complexity of the body’s bones, muscles, nerves, blood vessels and organs. “Bodies Revealed” leads guests through nine self-guided galleries, each one a precise and detailed look into a specific part of the body, its functions and its importance to the rest of the body. The galleries include: The Skeletal System; Muscles and the Nervous System; Respiratory, Digestive, Urinary, Reproductive, Endocrine and Circulatory Systems; Fetal Development; and Treated Body. The bodies on display are poised in athletic positions, giving guests a relatable view of the body in action. Some exhibits display the full body, while others showcase just one intricate piece, such as the lungs or intestines.

Live Entertainment at Desert Ridge
A different set of performers entertains every week at the District Stage and the AMC Fountain Stage! There is seating, but you may bring your own chairs. There are plenty of both sit-down and fast food restaurants where you can get all kinds of good eats while you listen to the music.

​The popular Mermaid Magic experience will return to OdySea Aquarium this summer. Guests will enjoy special encounters with these mythical creatures during operating hours.
Mermaid themed activities will include:
SeaTREK’s Stingray Bay mermaids will be speaking and interacting with guests while in the water or while perched on the ledge. Photo opportunities will be available.
Breakfast with the Mermaids from 8am-9am May 26th and 27th –attendees will be the first to see the mermaid at OdySea Aquarium! New this year, breakfast will be located in the Deep Ocean Theater where guests will see Wands and Wishes Mermaids as they swim with sharks and rays! Breakfast will include pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, juice, coffee/tea, and fruit!

Scottsdale ArtWalk

Scottsdale ArtWalk is much like a large, easy-going open house for the Scottsdale Arts District located primarily along Main Street and Marshall Way in Scottsdale Downtown. "America’s Original ArtWalk", this weekly gathering takes place every Thursday evening (year-round, except Thanksgiving) when all member galleries belonging to the Scottsdale Gallery Association (SGA) open their doors to the public and show off the work of the Southwest’s outstanding artists. A 30-year tradition, the ArtWalk process is simple; proceed at your own pace, wander into galleries that capture your fancy, stroll around a delightful area punctuated by dramatic statues, bubbling fountains, tree-covered courtyards, famed restaurants and more. Horse-drawn carriage rides and trolley rides are often available from plentiful free parking areas nearby.

City Lights Movie Nights at CityScape Phoenix

On the second Friday of every month, guests are encouraged to bring their blankets and chairs to watch a feature film on the big screen at the outdoor movie theater in Patriots Park. ​Arizona Science Center will feature 20 prize-winning photomicrographs – photographs of microscopic objects. All of the photomicrographs are winners of the 43rd annual Nikon Small World Competition, which recognizes excellence in photography through the microscope. The images are not only beautiful, but showcase research and trends in science. These photomicrographs capture a glimpse of a world unseen by the naked eye.

Meet Me Downtown Phoenix Social Walk/Run

Meet Me Downtown Phoenix is a weekly evening get-together designed to build healthy bodies, healthy businesses and a healthy Downtown. Every Monday join the community for a social walk/run through the heart of our city and, in the process, get fit, win prizes, shop local and make friends. Check in at Copper Blues from 5:15 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., then run/walk 3-5 miles or as far as you'd like. A route guide will be provided. After the walk/run, join them for closing ceremonies, incentive awards and prizes. Participants will get a stamp to receive discounts that night at select local restaurants.

​​CAVE CREEK BALLOON FESTIVAL
​The time has come to light up the Sonoran Desert sky at the annual Cave Creek Balloon Festival at Rancho Mañana Golf Course. Cave Creek's biggest single day event continues to be streamlined for a carefree experience of great live bands, massive glowing balloons, everyone's favorite fireworks show and a celebration of a red, white and blue Memorial Day weekend.
The balloons start to inflate and glow around 7:30 p.m., but you will want to be there way before then to see the Civil Air Patrol color guard presentation, a flyover by Deer Valley Composite Squadron 302, and to hear the National Anthem performed by Madison Holmes. Enjoy live music and lay back to cap off the evening with fireworks showering you with an explosive array of red, white and blue. Also, there’s plenty for the little ones to see and do. Featured at the event are free face painting and free balloon twisting, or you can choose to let your kids burn energy in fun thrilled kids' zone.
