Sweets Fest attendees will taste their way through massive sundaes, cotton candy towers, candy-topped waffles, chocolates, cupcakes, lollipops and a seemingly never-ending assortment of other sweet treats. Attendees can expect even more of all things syrupy, sugary and crave-able in this Candyland come to life event.  Take a leisurely stroll through the Lollipop Forest or the Cupcake Commons in what can best be described as a giant “Candyland Come to Life,” or partake in pie-eating, karaoke and an array of other family-friendly entertainment options to work off those calories consumed.

Arizona Balloon Classic

On Saturday and Sunday morning, the sky will be filled with colorful hot-air balloons participate in thrilling “Hare & Hound” races from the grassy fields of the Goodyear Ballpark for a spectacular sight of mass and color. Spectators can walk on the field and experience the balloons inflation and lift off.
During Desert Glows on Friday and Saturday evenings, a field full of illuminated, tethered, hot air balloons will glow in time to music.

Waste Management Phoenix Open

Annually sporting the largest crowds on the PGA Tour, the Waste Management Phoenix Open has gained legendary status on Tour for being unlike any other golf tournament. Before Valentine’s Day, find a delicious delight for the senses as the Glendale Chocolate Affaire takes over downtown Glendale to create a chocolate-lover’s dream! Chocolate purveyors from Arizona and around the nation gather in Glendale for this award-winning festival, which celebrates not only chocolate, but romance and the arts as well.
